Veronica's Paintbox presents the work of Veronica Aldous,  an artist and illustrator based in London. Veronica also writes poems and stories. A skillful writer,  many of her poems  and articles are published in well-known literary journals including Orbis, HQ , Urthona and others.

She is  a published illustrator and some of her work for publishers may be seen here.

Veronica is available for illustration  and fine art commissions.

"I trained at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design and initially worked for many years as a mural artist specialising in trompe l'oeil, and elegant  specialist faux finishes.

Works included the Hyatt Carlton Hotel, murals at the Inn in the Park, tile murals at Maxwell's restaurant and many private commissions.

I have had many solo exhibitions including the Coningsby in Tottenham Street. 

I  am an  arts tutor for Adult Education  and also lead creative writing and poetry groups. I also teach privately. I love teaching for the joy it gives me to see others inspired by their progress and to watch my learners grow in confidence and skill."
